About Me

Hi! My name is Melissa and I am the creative master mind behind Little Miss Pinny! I'm a wife and stay-at-home mom to three adorable little cuties; K, N, and T (as I will call them to respect their privacy). I love sewing and using the creative side of my brain.  I have an Etsy shop where I sell clothes for 18" dolls and some clothes for 14.5" dolls.
Recently, I have enjoyed taking used and messy dolls and turning them into something new again!

My first sewing class was back when I was ten years old, but I wasn't interested much at the time and didn't pursue sewing further. I later went to college at BYU-Idaho and roomed with my older sister. She had taken a children's sewing class and had the opportunity to make a beautiful blessing gown. When I looked at what she had made, I said to myself, "I'm going to do that too!" So I signed up for the class and found that although it was much more difficult than I thought it would be, I really, really enjoyed it! I worked hard in my class and found that if I put forth enough effort, I could make some really special things. :) After that, I bought my own sewing machine so that I could keep up on my skills. I can hardly believe it's already been about eleven years now!

I have always been a doll lover. I remember my sisters and I pouring over American Girl and Magic Attic Club magazines for hours! I now enjoy making custom outfits for dolls and even fixing them up to be enjoyed again!

Have a good time checking out the blog! And if something happens to catch your eye, make sure to read the instructions under the "How to Order" tab at the top of the page. Enjoy!
